And, as promised, Hello.

I'm a friend of OJ; she's been my mentor as I navigate my freshman year. She has had fine things to say about this guild, and I have waited until getting my main (and first) toon to level 40 before petitioning to join. I'm new enough to still be in wonder, but experienced enough in other games to know that there are many ways to skin a cat, so I don't come with a lot of preconceived "here's how it's done" business.

I'm working on a protection Paladin; I found that in City of Heroes, I was good at playing healers that had the option of dealing some damage. I'm learning how to manage threat, something that CoH healers never have to do, but I won't excel at it without the opportunity to play with a few folks on a more consistent basis.

All that being said, I hope you'll consider me for membership.

Thanks,

Lyulf

Hay Lyulf!!! You made it over here, hoooray!

Guys, Ly's my RL buddy, and a terrific guy -- we should get some late 30s-early 40s toons to run him through like, uldaman or whatever. At any rate, i suggest you guys start answering some of his questions, cause you know my gameplay knowledge extends all the way to like, Hogger then abruptly stops.

Good to see you here, Ly, look around, read teh forems n stuff!

Ooh, a City of Heroes alumni - as well as perfect spelling, grammar, and diction? I like this person.

I still need the achievement for ulda on several of my many many toons. So, if you want a run through or two of Ulda, Lyulf, I'm more than happy to help out. (Ulda requires 3 to get past the stupid door.) Contact me in-game or via the fotomoh channel: Anat, Avero, Damona, Malheurre, Keelana...omg I'm running out of space in this post for more toon names.

Also, your "CoH" acronym confused me for a second. The 'priest class' in WoW has a spell whose acronym is "CoH"--"Circle of Healing".

EDIT: OJ, your Avatar makes me want to vomit every time I see it.

Ulda sounds great. I have no idea what it is, not a clue. I'm planning on an all-day-more or less on Sunday, Nov. 22...my last chance before the Turkeys invade my workplace and I'm chained to the floor until T-Day. I'll look for you!

Yikes...that'd be Sunday the 23rd. So much for maintaining the illusion of intelligence...

What time would you be game? I could zip you through Uldaman too. Might be time for Maraudon as well.
