Disconnection issue solved: Our contractors left the phone box upside-down in the rain when they were replacing siding on the house. Grr. But fixed. Should be back at my normal 100%.

As Tam says, last touch on the ball gets the shadow damage reduction. My first assumption was the ball was getting scratched by a consecrate or pet or something random and wasn't giving the expected reduction. Looking through the parses, that's possible on a few - check out http://www.llewville.com/parses/2010/sw ... 13cc9.html

Neph killed by 20k empowered bolts 1:43 into the fight. Whereas the previous attempt: http://www.llewville.com/parses/2010/sw ... tml#deaths shows Neph taking 8k empowered bolts at exactly the same timeframe. Difference? 5 other players hitting nuclei on attempt 5, and just 1 other player touching a nucleus on attempt 4.

Keleseth should be tankable by anyone with range and either decent damage reduction or a defensive cooldown (for 2nd empower scenario). After absorb, Neph was taking 2-4k empowered bolt hits in Attempt 4, which doesn't present any sort of healing problem or death risk.

Anyway, a lot of groups are just throwing 3 tanks at this, because it's fairly foolproof. But that's probably not optimal.
